Community Service
This past Saturday, 28 members of the team, 3 coaches, and 3 parents showed up at 6:30 AM to volunteer for Team Hope's Run for Huntington's Disease. If you don't know about Huntington's Disease you can click HERE to learn more. We could not be more proud of our team's efforts in helping to eradicate this horrible disease. Thanks for coming out guys!

Updates for the week of 8/29
Hi all. Just a few updates for this week. . .
• This Thursday, 9/1, the team will run a timed trial 5K at Crescent Lake for practice. It is important that all runners attend this practice if at all possible. Please let me know in advance if you child has any transportation issues on this day. We will take a bus to the park and return to SPS by 5PM.
• Please note the following schedule updates/additions:
• FLrunners @ Titusville 9/30 - Girls JV 3:30, Boys JV 3:55, Girls V 4:20, Boys V 5:20
• Middle Division 2 Mile Race @ Admiral Farragut 4PM on 9/20
• Middle Division 2 Mile Race @ Puryear Park 4PM on 10/4
• District Meet 11/3 @ Taylor Park - Coaches Meeting 8:45AM, Girls V 10AM, Boys V 10:45
• By Friday 9/2 - ALL runners need to turn in a Disney waiver form and I need the names of those who will be staying over for the Disney trip (any families who would like a room as well, please)
• Please let me know ASAP if your child plans to ride the bus on 9/10 for the Seffner meet. We will leave SPS at 6:15AM.
• Tuesday, 9/7 Feet First (4th Street and 49th Ave) is hosting a Cross Country Night from 5-7PM - Coach Raab and I plan to head over after practice as they are offering 15% off any purchase, giveaways, and free gifts for all XC runners!

Parent Meeting Tonight - 8/24
Please join us tonight for a brief, but very important, parent meeting for all cross country runners. The meeting will begin at 5 and last only about 30 minutes. Also, please be aware that our team community service project will be this Saturday, 8/27. We will be meeting at the St. Pete Pier at 6:30AM to help out at The Run for Huntington's Disease. We will be finished by 9:30AM. Thanks in advance for taking the time to make this a meaningful experience for the team!
