Tomorrow the MD runners will be excused from class at 2PM to change and board the buses for a 2:15 departure to Keswick Christian for our first meet. The meet begins at 4PM, field events and running events will both begin right away. Girls will go first at the Shot Put and High Jump, boys first at the Discus and Long Jump.
We will be finalizing the events that the kids are doing today at practice - please ask them which events they are doing, then reference either the post with order of events or the back of the team uniform shirts to know when the events will take place. All running events begin with the girls.
Once your child has completed his or her events, you may sign out at the team camp area if you wish to leave. All students riding the bus home will contact you on our way, which should be somewhere between 6:30-7:30. Please understand that it is extremely difficult to estimate this time, especially for the first meet, as we have no idea how many other schools/athletes will be participating.
